You will receive an email confirming your order, including full instructions on how to send us your documents.
Sending your documents
Please send your documents by post or courier to the address provided in the confirmation email. Make sure your order number is clearly written on the envelope.
Return delivery
Once your documents have been legalised, we will return them to you by courier or post, using the return address you provided.
Sharing your legalised documents
After you receive your legalised documents, you can share them with the intended recipient:
- By post
- By courier
- In person
Optional scanning service (£12 per document)
If you would like us to scan your legalised document before returning it, we can email you a secure digital copy for an additional £12 per document.
If you ordered an e-Apostille / e-Certification
You will receive an email notification as soon as your legalised documents are ready.
You can download the documents multiple times using the link provided.
You may share the e-Apostille digitally, for example:
- by email
- via USB / memory stick
- in person, by showing it on a screen
e-Apostilles are digitally signed and secure, making them ideal for fast, paperless sharing.
Help your recipient verify the apostille
If the recipient wishes to check that an apostille was issued by the Legalisation Office (FCDO), they can verify the apostille via the official UK Government service:
